I'm back home in my bed. And I sort of wish that I weren't. I mean, it's nice to see my family and to relax for a bit, but there's a reason why I'm only staying for a day. I can't deal with them all again. Plus, at least I got food to eat at school! I came back and there was nothing to eat -_-
On the bright side, I got three more of the books I ordered. One of which is The Book Thief. I'm excited about that one.
Oh, and apparently my dad switched up my room like the day after I moved out so it looks odd. But I still have all my stuff so it's okay. I did have to move my cranes though. They were being blocked by the dresser. I like them in their new spot though. There's lots of light to showcase my hard work :)

It took exactly 224 days, about 8 months, but I've finally done it. I folded and hung up 1000 paper cranes. I made a senzaburu. I actually made 1000 a while ago, but after using some for the gift, I had to fold a couple hundred more. It turns out, as I was stringing together the last hundred, I was missing one more crane. So I folded it, and made a wish on it. According to legend, it's guarenteed to come true. I hope it does.
Even if it doesn't. I still get to wake up and see this every morning (as long as I'm a home of course haha).

Stayed up late just to learn how to make these guys. Sigh. My poor, poor sleep schedule, smh.
They're cute though, right?! :D
Origami Wishing Stars
I've finally randomly found out to make them. I've still yet to try it, but I think I'll make myself a jar full of them. I'll write all my hopes and dreams on them. Or just one, lost in a sea of others... I need to use my empty jars for something. And I shouldn't wait for someone to do something that I'm completely capable of doing myself. And... I like origami. It's fun. And maybe, just maybe, I'll get a wish granted like with my 1,000 cranes. Ehh, but I'm not sure I truly believe in that wish stuff anyway... If anything it'll be a nice new activity and a pretty decoration.

This is one amazing man.. Today would be his 101's birthday :)
I would love to check out one of his origami books!
Can you believe he died on his birthday? Crazy...
